Another Summer. Another Year.
June blinked, July waved, as it passed and now here we are-August, holding onto golden hours and sandals for dear life. It’s funny how each summer feels like a re-run of an old favorite with just enough new scenes to surprise you.
The music, the sunsets, the heat, (yes-and the margaritas), they all show up like clockwork, yet every year they hit a little differently.
Maybe because each summer I bring a new version of myself to the season.
I’m not just watching the days get shorter—I’m watching myself grow a little more patient, a little more playful, and maybe even a little braver. This summer I said yes to things I might’ve shrugged off before. I wore the bright colors, danced without a care-(on and off camera), and I even rocked a few looks that made my 30 something self proud!
Because, the truth is, we don’t get the same summer twice. And that’s what makes it beautiful.
Another Summer, another year—It’s not just a flip of the calendar. It’s a reminder. A reminder that time doesn’t just pass, it presents. It hands us moments to savor, laughs to collect, lessons to learn, and confidence to reclaim.
So as we slide into late Summer, here’s what I’m taking with me:
Sunsets are non-negotiable
SPF is still your best friend
Style has no expiration date.
And there is ALWAYS time to dance.
To everyone feeling the bittersweet breeze of August: Don’t rush it. Soak it in. Whether your poolside, working overtime, or dancing barefoot in your kitchen-it’s still your summer.
Another summer. Another year.
And still so much more to come.
