Note To Younger Self:

If life had a fast-forward button, I must’ve pressed it at age 35.

One moment I’m dancing on Broadway stages, juggling dreams. The next, I’m sipping coffee and wondering how my reflection has more stories than wrinkles! And, that’s saying something!

Time flies. Not in a cliche’ way. In a blink and your kids are grown, blink again, and you need reading -glasses- kind- of -way!

So if my older self could sent a message back through the decades, it might go something like this:

Dear younger me,

Stop worrying so much.

Wear the dress.

Take the trip.

Stop shrinking to make others feels comfortable. Your light was meant to shine.

Say no to people-pleasing—--it’s over-rated.

Moisturize your neck-trust me.

And for heaven’s sake, stop comparing. You’re doing just fine.

Stop worrying all the time. Things always work out.

The mirror does not define you. Your heart, your gift, your laughter—that’s the good stuff.

Oh—and dance, always dance. Even in the kitchen-especially in the kitchen.
