A Love Affair with Clinique: From Sixteen to Sixty and Beyond

Some love stories last a lifetime. Mine began at sixteen-not with a boy 😊, but with a brand that would become a constant in my life:

As a teenager, visiting NYC in the mid-seventies, getting ready to take on the bright lights of The Great White Way, I was mesmerized by the sleek green packaging and the promise of glowing, healthy skin as seen on a beautiful woman who tracked me down in Bloomingdales begging me to try this makeup line. She was the epitome of beauty. I, on the other hand, had as a teenager, blemishes and acne.

It was the era of heavy, cakey makeup, but Clinique’s fresh, dermatologist-developed approach felt like a revelation to me! Their iconic 3-step skin care introduced me to the magic of self-care-at the age of sixteen-cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize. I was ready to take on the world and I most certainly did.

Through my years in show biz, Clinique’s foundations kept my skin balanced and radiant. At 63, I still have proof! I have sensitive skin and have tried many other brands for a short time throughout the years, but I’ve always come back to Clinique. It has never failed me!

As a former business owner, and now as a content creator, my Clinique faves remain in my daily routine. Yes, you can certainly say it’s been a life-long love affair with Clinique! From my teens to my sixties, our love affair continues proving that some classics never go out of style!

Beyond the beauty, Clinique represents something more personal. Elegance without excess, science-backed care, and a timeless commitment to confidence!
